We wanted to share with you a wedding we photographed at Hillstone St Lucia recently.
Lucy and Justin met at work – in a microbiology lab – at the University of Queensland.
One could say it was love at first sight, but in their case it was viral!
Both exceptionally devoted to their work, they soon found that nucleic acid chains, submicroscopic entities and protein coats were not the only thing on each other’s minds.
They had a perfect and intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends before departing with their bridal party for some wedding photos at UQ’s peaceful lake and garden area.
On the way back, it took a little coaxing, but we made a slight detour to a place that shall remain nameless… suffice to say we all had a lot of fun and it was great to photograph at the source of their romantic preludes.
The theme for their wedding was, Australian Flora, with the colour ‘green’ appearing prominently throughout their invites, table settings and even on the grooms-men’s socks.
