It seems there was something special in the air on the day Kate and Steve chose to officially intertwine their lives in front of family and friends at St Brigids Church in Brisbane.
After the ceremony the mood was so light and uplifting that even Kate’s veil decided to serenade the new husband and wife!
It was such a beautiful moment and widened the, already big, smiles on their faces. There was nothing that could be done except for everyone to laugh and enjoy the moment. Exactly how a wedding should be!
After a delightful bout of wedding photos walking the gravily streets of Spring Hill near All Hallows (Kate’s old stomping ground), we moved east towards Brisbane River where Kate and Steve had decided to host their elegant wedding reception at Moda Events, Portside.
I’m happy to report the food was amazing and the speeches were honest and touching. Family and friends were even treated a beautiful and jovial poem Kate had prepared for this very special occasion.
